This is my first drawing piece. I decided to make my paper vertical and place my three objects closer together on the paper so there was less white space and more focus on the actual objects. I spaced them out well, and while my height of the bases could have been better, I am happy with my proportions.

For my drawing, I chose three bottles and some rope included in the still life picture. I made the paper vertical to hold all three bottles, and drew them from this angle because I felt the shadows were flattering from this viewpoint. I think the spacing could have been better, but overall I really like it.

For this drawing, I chose to orient the paper horizontally so I could arrange all three objects in an effective triangular set up, and add the shadows in a more attractive manner. I liked the value scale I used, and my favorite object in the photo was the silly string. I used my eraser to pull out the letters on the can, and I love how it turned out!

I chose to set this drawing up vertically in this drawing to help get the full, one pointed effect of the picture I used. I actually really enjoyed this project, and I loved how it turned out. The most difficult part for me was sketching the shadows and making sure the lines were all perfectly straight. Once they were, the whole project went smoother and came together in the end.
